X1 sees great potential in a new product to communicate with Infor's BPCS ERP.

Although still in development, X1 Solutions has successfully integrated their MSS/COM Order Management product to Infor's BPCS utilizing a new software component to pass data between the two systems.
Currently, there are limited mechanisms that allow outside products to connect with Infor's BPCS ERP system. Unlike many ERP systems with available API's, Infor has provided a few products to allow integration although none have ever been fully developed or supported.
This new middleware has the potential to shatter the paradigm. Ideally, the developmental goals are to provide a standard adapter to interface to BPCS logic that third party products may utilize in order to extend a customer's current ERP investment.
